Grades 8 & 9

Sustainable Eating Strategies

Welcome to the 2024 Route2Write Writing Competition! Our mission is to inspire and celebrate the creativity and insight of young writers on the advantages of regenerative farming. By participating, you'll explore the world of sustainability and environmental responsibility, sharing your unique perspectives through your writing.

We invite you to write an essay on the impact of food production on our planet. Show us what you know and let your creativity shine.
You can choose from two tasks:

Option 1
How can changing the way we eat lessen the effects of climate change?

Option 2
Investigate the impact of climate change on agriculture. How do changing weather patterns affect crop yields and food production? Are there any strategies and innovations in agriculture to adapt to and mitigate the effects of climate change?
