How can Route2Write benefit my child?

Route2Write offers a comprehensive online English writing program designed to enhance writing skills across various grade levels (4 to 10). Our program, grounded in over 15 years of teaching expertise, offers a blend of instructional videos, quizzes, interactive games, and writing tasks. Whether your child seeks to supplement their current education or requires additional practice, Route2Write equips them with the tools for academic success and lifelong learning.

How do I register for a course?

Registering for a Route2Write course is easy and can be done in just a few steps:
1. Visit our course selection page and choose the appropriate grade level for your child.
2. Click on "Learn More and Sign-Up!" to proceed.
3. On the next page, select either the Writing Course or the Writing Course + Marking Bundle, based on your preference.
4. Complete your payment process to start the learning journey!

What are the different Route2Write options?

We offer two main options:
  • Writing Course: Access to grade-specific content including videos, quizzes, and writing tasks, for self-paced learning.
  • Writing Course + Marking Bundle: Includes everything in the Writing Course, plus personalized feedback from our teachers on your assignments within two business days.

What payment options are there?

Payments can be made using Visa, Mastercard, or American Express. All transactions are secure and encrypted.

How is your curriculum benchmarked to international standards?

Our curriculum aligns with the Canadian Common Core standards as practiced in British Columbia, ensuring a globally recognized educational standard. This alignment means our content is designed not only to meet but exceed the foundational skills required for academic excellence in English writing.

Why do students and parents both need email addresses to register? 

Each student needs an email for course access. If you prefer not to use a child's email, a parent's secondary email can be used instead.

How is the progress of the student tracked?

Student progress is monitored via their personal account dashboard. This dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of their course progress and includes any feedback on assignments submitted, if the Writing Course + Marking Bundle has been selected.

What are the technical requirements and will I need to buy anything else, such as workbooks?

There are no additional purchases necessary. To ensure a smooth and accessible learning experience, students will need:
  • A stable internet connection.
  • An updated web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge).
  • Access to an email account for course communications and submissions.

No additional software or purchases are required.

Can I switch courses after I start?

Yes, adjustments to your course selection are possible. If you wish to switch to a different writing course, we're here to assist. However, contacting us for support is necessary to facilitate the switch.

To request a course change, please complete our contact form, and our Customer Support team will get back to you within two business days.

What is your Refund Policy?

We stand behind the quality of our courses and offer a refund policy to ensure satisfaction:
  • Full refunds are available within 10 days of purchase for both the Writing Course and the Marking Bundle, provided no more than 20% of the course has been completed.
  • Within this period, students may also receive feedback on up to 2 assignments to gauge the value of our personalized feedback system.
  • To request a refund, please contact us at contact@route2write.com. Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days.

Writing Courses

What is included in my Writing Course purchase?

Upon enrolment in a Writing Course, students gain access to the complete set of resources for their selected grade level. This includes a variety of learning tools such as pre-recorded instructional videos, interactive quizzes, games, and writing exercises, all designed to be completed at the student's preferred pace.

What is the estimated time to complete a Writing Course?

The duration to complete a Writing Course varies, as students are encouraged to progress at their own pace. Each lesson is designed to take approximately 20-40 minutes, with a total of 40 lessons available within each course.

For how long will I have access to my Writing Course?

Your access to the Writing Course lasts for one year from the date of purchase. This allows students ample time to explore, absorb, and refine their skills through the course materials. If you would like to extend your learning journey, you can always purchase additional courses for the next grade level whenever you're ready for the next step.

How can I upgrade my Writing Course to include Marking?

Our team of educators, all of whom possess a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in education, are responsible for teaching the courses. With extensive experience in both in-person and online teaching globally, our instructors are committed to delivering engaging and impactful learning experiences.

How does the Marking feature work? 

In each lesson, students are given a writing assignment that can be submitted online to our teaching team for evaluation. Upon submission, feedback is provided within two business days, including detailed comments and suggested corrections. This personalized feedback is designed to help students refine their work and produce a polished final draft.

What is the duration of access for the Writing Course + Marking Bundle?

Enrollment in the Writing Course + Marking Bundle provides access to the course materials for one year from the date of purchase. During this time, students can submit assignments for marking at any point in their learning journey. Once the course is completed, students have the option to continue by purchasing courses for the next grade level.

What is the turnaround time for marking assignments?

Assignments submitted for marking are reviewed and returned to students with comprehensive feedback within two business days. This prompt response ensures students can quickly incorporate feedback and continue their learning progress.
